5.) Discover Hawaii’s ‘Grand Canyon’
As one of Hawaii’s most popular hiking destinations, Waimea Canyon State Park is recognized as the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific.’ The canyon itself is about 10 miles (16 km) long and 3,000 feet (914 m) deep.
For a shorter hike in the canyon, take the Canyon Trail to the east rim, and then see Waipoo Falls before heading back.

The capital city of Hawaii, Honolulu is a must-see as it is the gateway to the rest of the islands. Beautiful beaches await you, as well as great shopping and dining in Waikiki.

9.) Discover the ancient history in Ahu‘ena Heiau
You should not miss a chance to visit some of Hawaii’s ancient sites. Ahu‘ena Heiau, a temple built in the 1400s that served both as a spiritual center and a sacrificial temple, is one of the most important of these sites.
The temple was rebuilt by King Kamehameha I in 1813 and dedicated to the Hawaiian god of peace and prosperity, Lono.
